Vodafone Group Plc. is the UK based telecommunications company which spread its wings like wildfire in India as Vodafone India. Vodafone Group Plc. is the second largest telecommunications service provider in the world. In March 2017, Vodafone has entered into a deal with Idea Cellular to enter into a merger which will make the entity the biggest telecommunications network India. The merger is expected to come to its conclusion by March 2019.
